If you’re new to lightweight flywheels do some basic reading and talk to friends who have had them. This one is light and it behaves as such. For me personally it’s the bomb diggity and it’s exactly what I wanted. The best way I can describe it is an S2000 with a lightweight flywheel. If you’ve ever experienced that you know what you’re getting.
It needs more throttle to get going, kind of like an RX7. The 2ZZ makes no torque so she just needs fed a bit. Once you feel it out it’s truly amazing. Heel toe is bananas with this setup. Engine revs very freely especially if you have other complimentary mods.

I used this flywheel in a 2zz/6 speed swap. The fit and finish are awesome. Clutch grip with the “Chimp Clutch” is outstanding. When daily driving I can still let the clutch out and take off without having to give it any throttle. I was not expecting that to be the case.

I used to have a fidanza flywheel and I thought that was a big improvement over stock in terms of rev speed. This MWR 8.8lb flywheel blows the fidanza out of the water. Huge upgrade, very rev happy in my Matrix XRS. Easier to stall but I got used to it after a day or two. Can’t recommend this flywheel enough!
