MWR Reverse Blockout – MR2 Spyder 6-speed

Description

MWR reverse blockout is needed when installing a Celica or Matrix 6-speed in an MR2 Spyder. It gives you the same positive resistance feel you’d have in a Celica or Matrix so that you can clearly feel the difference between the reverse and 1-2 shift gates. No more embarrassing gear selection mistakes!

*beware, we’ve seen an item with this description for sale elsewhere at a lower price but it may be the cover only, no internal mechanism. You need the whole assembly for it to work!

MWR also includes the additional shim washers required to perfectly center your shift lever and allow for easy selection of reverse gear. Works with your current 5-speed shift lever (or upgraded MWR short shifter) and  stock 5-speed cables.
